Description
CocoFlex™ ET-FGM™ is a fully biodegradable, highly effective, flexible and growing basis with prolonged lifespan composed of 100% recycled Thermally Refined™ (heat-treated) wood fibres, artificial wavy fused biodegradable fibres, cross-linked biopolymers of natural origin and water absorbers. The highly effective flexible growing basis with prolonged lifespan is phytosanitary treated, without plasticised or plastic-coated grid, ready for immediate use and creates a tight porous and absorbent layer that accelerates plant germination and growth when in contact with the soil surface.
ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT
- erosion protection with prolonged lifespan for medium to very steep slopes 0.25 : 1,
- on roughly granulated slopes,
- exceptional performance on erosion control liners with plasticised or plastic-coated grids,
- accelerated establishment of vegetation.
APPLICATION
The product CocoFlex™ is suitable for medium to very steep slopes 0.25 : 1. The product is applied to the surface using a water sowing machine.

* At uniform application of 3900 kilograms/hectare under laboratory conditions. 1. Test methods according to ASTM developed for erosion protection agents in rolls modified for hydraulic erosion protection agents. 2. Surface coverage is calculated as the ratio of soil loss on treated surfaces compared to untreated control surfaces. 3. Percentage efficiency = 1 - Surface coverage * 100%. 4. Extensive testing was conducted at a research laboratory in Utah. For detailed testing information, contact a technical service representative of the company Profile at 800-508-8681 or +1-847-215-1144. 5. The time of action is the estimated time based on findings from the field, where it was found that the agent can provide erosion protection and agronomic benefit depending on the composition as well as specific field conditions, including but not limited to temperature, humidity, lighting, soil, biological activity, vegetation establishment and other environmental factors. 6. Heated for 5 minutes to a temperature greater than 193 degrees Celsius at a pressure greater than 345 kPa. In this way appropriate phytosanitary and thermal treatment are achieved. |
