Description
Dwarf, upright, very broadly growing, often multi-stemmed deciduous tree (H 0,8-1,2 m, depands as well on staking, W 3-4 m). Crown broadly wide-spreading, at maturity dome-shaped. Branches distinctly hanging. Leaves broad-palmate (5-8 cm), 7-9-lobed, with serrate margin, bright light green to mid light green; autumn colour yellow to bright orange; leaflets remarkable, wider, with a narrowly pointed tip. Flowers violet-red. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits winged, in pairs (very obtuse, almost straight angle), dark red. Ripening time: September-October. Undemanding tree, suitable for urban conditoins, normally grows in different types of soil, except the very heavy and permanently moist soils.
