Description
Medium-sized, upright, widely spreading deciduous tree (H 10-15 m, W 10-15 m). Crown ovate to broadly spherical or dome-shaped, dense. Young shoots green to reddish, with white longitudinal stripes. Bark on trunk and on older branches grey-green with white longitudinal stripes. Leaves broadly egg-shaped to round (12-15 cm), simple or shallowly 3-5-lobed, with a slightly serrate margin, mid to dark green; autumn colour yellow to orange. Flowers light yellow. Flowering period: May. Fruits winged, in pairs (obtuse, almost straight angle), green to reddish. Ripening time: September-October. Easily withstands urban conditions and wind.
