Description
Medium-sized, upright, widely spreading deciduous shrub, wild rose, eventually semi-climber (H 2-3 m, W 2-3 m), of strong vigour. Branches upright to open, arching, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (5-10 cm), pinnate, 7-9-lobed, smooth, above slightly glossy, light to mid green. Flowers numerous, in large inflorescence, flat bowl-shaped (2 cm), simple, bright lilac-pink; beautifully scented, scent of honey. Flowering period: June-July. Fruits globose (0,7 cm), fleshy, red. Ripening time: September-November. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Well resistant to diseases, undemanding, well-growing shrub.
