Description
Small, compact, slow growing deciduous tree (H 2,5-3 m, depands as well on grafting height, W 0,7-1 m). Crown evenly rounded, dense. Bark white with black spots, smooth to slightly rough. Young shoots dark brown to grey, glossy. Branches short, open. Leaves broadly triangular to rhomboid (3-7 cm), with pointed tip, with a slightly serrate margin, mid dark green, lighter underneath, autumn colour bright yellow. Flowers tiny, in hanging yellow-green inflorescence, catkins. Flowering period: April. Undemanding tree, adaptable to different soils, withstands occasional drought and urban conditoins. Good also as a container-plant.
