Medium-sized, upright, bushy deciduous shrub (H 2-2,5 m, W 2-2,5 m). Branches upright to open, dense, later arching. Leaves ovate (6-9 cm), slightly wrinkled, glossy, mid to dark green. Flowers arranged along the shoots, in loose clusters, numerous, funnel-shaped (2,5-3 cm), outside bright pink, inside in margin light pink to almost white. Flowering period: May-June. Undemanding, healthy shrub, grows in any reasonable, sufficiently drained soils in full sun or in half-shade. Easily withstands cold, heat, drought and urban conditoins.
