Description
Small, upright, moderately growing deciduous tree (H 7-9 m, W 4-5 m). Crown broadly spherical, open. Bark on trunk and on older branches dark grey-green, with remarkable, narrow, grey-white longitudinal stripes, ornamental. Young shoots olive green. Leaves narrowly palmate (6-12 cm), shallowly 3-lobed, with a wavy, slightly serrate margin, light to mid green, petioles and veins reddish; autumn colour bright red; leaflets not distinctive, with a narrowly pointed tip. Flowers yellow. Flowering period: May. Fruits winged, in pairs (almost straight, obtuse angle), red-brown. Ripening time: September-October. Easily withstands urban conditoins.
