Description
Medium-sized, compact, slow growing deciduous shrub (H 1,4-1,8 m, W 1,3-1,6 m). Crown dense, rounded to dome-shaped. Branches short, densely branched, open, slightly hanging in a distinctive, arching way. Leaves broadly egg-shaped, palmate, 3-(5)-lobed (10 cm), smooth, dark green, autumn colour orange-red to dark wine red. Flowers in flat inflorescence (8-10 cm), simple (1-2 cm), snow white. Flowering period: May-June. Fruits globose to ovate (0,8 cm), fleshy, light red, high yielding variety. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Requires deep, always moderately moist soils, otherwise easy to grow.
