Description
Medium-sized, upright, widely spreading deciduous shrub (H 1,2-1,8 m, W 1-1,5 m). Branches light red-brown, upright to arching. Leaves broadly ovate (3-5 cm), softly hairy, light green to grey-green. Flowers funnel-shaped (1,5-2 cm), light yellow, slightly scented. Flowering period: April. Fruits elongate ovate to egg-shaped (1,5-3 cm), fleshy, dark bluewith a bloom, edible, very tasty. Plant different varietes together for a better yield. Ripening time: June-July. Requires fertile, deep, slightly acidic to neutral, humus-rich, well-drained and always moderately moist soils, and moderately sunny to half-shady sites. Variety with outstandingly large and tasty fruits.
