Description
Medium-sized, upright, fast growing deciduous tree (H 12-15 m, W 7-10 m). Crown evenly ovate, dense. Branches distinctly upright, very firm. Leaves broad-palmate (10-18 cm), 5-lobed, leaflets remarkable, wide, with narrowly pointed tips; with a rough, sharply serrate margin; leaves glossy, at first light pink, later bright dark green, autumn colour yellow to orange. Flowers green-yellow. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits winged, in pairs (very obtuse, almost straight angle), light brown. Ripening time: September-October. An undemanding species, normally withstands drought, wind, different types of soil and urban conditions, an outstandingly robust, tough variety with a strong trunk.
