Large, upright, clump-forming, slow growing evergreen shrub (H 3-5 m, W 2-3 m). Leaves grow atop of the trunk, forming a dense rosette. Leaves lanceolate (40-70 cm), upright to drooping, smooth, leathery, blue-green to grey-blue. Flowers in dense, fertile, upright inflorescence (0,5 m), bell-shaped (4-5 cm), cream white. Flowering period: June-August. Attracts butterflies and bees. Grows well in sufficiently drained, dry to moderately moist soils, in sunny, warm sites, withstands drought and heat.
